Hello! My name is Takako Kato.
I was born and raised in a quiet countryside town in Nara, nestled in the Kansai region of Japan. During my twenties and early thirties, I had the opportunity to live in Hiroshima, Osaka, and Tokyo. Back then, I would use my extended holidays for trips abroad, while weekends were reserved for exploring various parts of Japan, indulging in local cuisine, and experiencing hot springs and traditional ryokans. Due to my husband’s job, I’ve had the opportunity to live both in Houston (Texas) and London, and it was during that time, through friends and their referrals, that I discovered a love for creating travel itineraries for those visiting Japan, laying a foundation fort for OnsZen.
